During their opening season in 2024, Long Island’s Spy Ring GC relied on Tagmarshal to assist with monitoring pace and flow. As a busy 9-hole public course with golfers playing the course for the first time, having full line of sight and understanding which groups to approach and when helped Spy Ring beat their target goal time for the season by 27 minutes.

Dumbarnie, the famous Scottish course about 12 miles from St Andrews, also beat their target goal time for the 2024 season, thanks to the effective use of the Live Map (above) and targeted interventions by on-course player assistants.

At two of Florida’s top private courses, Kinsale and The Concession, the golf cart GPS system has been pivotal to their service strategy, resulting in improved pace and happier members.

Kinsale’s 2024/25 average round time was 3h40m, with on-course interactions with members aiding the feel-good factor. With a goal time across the 2024/25 season of 4 hours, The Concession’s exceptional pace management strategies saw them beat their goal time by 12 minutes.

For members who wanted a rapid early morning round, The Concession implemented variable goal times, asking players to finish in 3 hours or under for tee times before 8am. This was successful, with a 2h54m average across the season. 

The club also reduced gap intervals from 10 minutes to 5 minutes during this period, creating additional capacity for members.

The Track Map feature is incredibly popular with operators for a number of reasons. It allows them to look back at a round, whether it was played earlier that day or months ago, and see exactly what happened with pace, on-course interactions and alerts, geofence breaches and more.

Private clubs like Kinsale use the Track Map (above) to inform potentially difficult conversations with members. Tagmarshal’s premium golf cart GPS system devices are the 2Way 8inch and 10inch screens, which provide players with a range of additional features. These include the ability to self-monitor their pace against the goal time, to-the-pin yardage, messaging with staff and F&B ordering.

For the team at Franklin Bridge, the screens have proven pivotal in how they manage pace and communicate with golfers.
