Aaron Barrett, an avid golfer, has played multiple times at the world-renowned, Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, a partner, and a recipient of the Tagmarshal Diamond Award 2021. Get to know Tagmarshal’s new Customer Success Agent, who brings in a wealth of experience to a fast-growing business.
1. What behavior or personality trait do you most attribute your success to, and why?
I would say flexibility is one of the traits that help me to excel in my position. Tagmarshal is a smaller and fast-growing company. New challenges arise almost daily, and you have to be prepared to step in and lend a hand wherever you are needed.
2. Are you a golf fan? What is your favorite course you’ve played?
I LOVE golf but the relationship is very one-sided. I definitely love golf more than it loves me. My favorite course would have to be the courses at Bandon Dunes. I grew up about 20 minutes away from the property and have played there many times.
Not only is it a beautiful place but it is also very nostalgic for me personally. My parents used to buy gift certificates to Bandon Dunes to entice me to come and visit. Needless to say I have many fond memories of playing there.

3. Tell us about your role at Tagmarshal? Why is it important?
I am the new Customer Success Associate based out of Atlanta, Georgia. My role is to communicate with courses and help them get the most benefit from the Tagmarshal platform and strengthen and expand our relationship with each customer.
4. What is your favorite part about your job, so far?
While I haven’t been in my current role for very long I enjoy connecting with the people at the courses and hearing their stories of how Tagmarshal has helped them improve the customer experience and provided tangible benefits for the ownership.

6. Your best golf moment?
I was playing Pacific Dunes one time, I don’t remember which hole it was, but it was the hole with the Ghost tree. It was a foggy morning and I remember walking up the fairway and seeing that tree, the course, and the fog, it teleported me to medieval times of Scotland. I half expected to see a knight riding a horse up the fairway.
7. What are the words that you live by?
Hope for the best but prepare for the worst.
