Paarl GC setting the pace using Tagmarshal’s Golf Course Intelligence system!
Paarl Golf Club has enjoyed a fruitful few months since the adoption of the Tagmarshal pace efficiencies system and is providing an excellent on-course experience to its members and guests
The 27-hole parkland course situated at the beautiful Boschenmeer Golf Estate, just outside of the town of Paarl in the Cape Winelands, South Africa.
Since implementation of the Tagmarshal system in November, Paarl GC has improved the pace and thus the on-course experience by an impressive 28:15 minutes to a round time of 04:16:05 as of January 2018.
The baseline data showed an improvement from 52% of rounds slow to only 13% slow rounds. The average round time at the course in the initial month was 04:44:20 which was well above the target goal time standing at 04:27:00. The facility has been empowered to go even better than this and now has an average time of 04:16:05.
Rob Seiderer, Customer success manager at Tagmarshal, highlighted that the key behind the success was the team at the course and praised them for the excellent adoption and work done with the system.
“Boschenmeer experienced a huge improvement in both their average goal time and pace distribution due to their diligent staff and expert management all playing a positive role in the implementation of the Tagmarshal system.”
By improving efficiencies and processes with the technology, Paarl GC have improved the pace distribution from 44% since implementation to 77% within 10 minutes of the goal time by January. This is a material success within 3 months, increasing the quality of the experience for all golfers.
