Tagmarshal: Get to know Thando Maqanda

In this edition of our Quick 9 series, we sit down with Tagmarshal’s latest recruit, Thando Maqanda, Support Specialist. Thando joins an exceptional Customer Success team, committed to help our partners to drive continuous improvement, ensuring their 2022 goals are met, and more.

1. How would you describe your morning routine to kickstart your day?

I am generally not a morning person. However, nothing a good cup of coffee can’t fix. 

2.What behavior or personality trait do you most attribute your success to, and why?

Ambitious and hardworking. I love to push my limits and beyond.  

3.What is your role at Tagmarshal? Why is it important?

As the Customer Success Support Specialist, my role is vital in ensuring that clients who experience challenges are communicated with efficiently and kept informed throughout the process, until the query has been resolved.

By ensuring that queries are resolved and clients are communicated with, we are able to maintain good-standing client relationships and empower our clients to use the full functionality of the Tagmarshal system. 

4. What is your favorite part about your job, so far?

Training with the Customer Success team, learning and understanding Golf culture. 

5. Describe Tagmarshal in three words.

Innovative, Inspiring, and Versatile. 

6. What’s something you’ve done, but you’ll never do again?

Bungee Jumping. 

7. If you could trade places with anyone for a day, who would you choose? Why?

Our President, Cyril Ramaphosa. I just want to know how it feels to run the country for a day. 

8. What is your dream holiday destination?

Ibiza, Spain.

9. What are the words that you live by?
